La Roche Posay

Some Like it HOT!

Whether you love or loath the sun we all need protection from it. There is no excuse for burning, its a big no no, especially if you are a sun worshipper like me. So how do you know which product is the best? As they are not cheap! Read on to find out my top 3 organic recommendations.

If you chose your suncream based on smell only you could be damaging your skin further. I used to use high street brands that smelt amazing, the result was spotty skin on my face & back. So quite few years ago i switched to organic & have never looked back. Yes i miss that amazing smell but i’d rather have smooth spot free skin!! Most organic suncreams/lotions work straight away, unlike chemical sunscreens which are absorbed by the skin and are not effective until 30 minutes after application. Its true some organic creams leave you looking a little white but its a small price to pay for protecting your skin.

Biosolis: The protection is immediate and the duration longer. The white cream is absorbed quickly thanks to their liquid texture, soft to the touch and pleasant to apply.

Jason’s: This product is non-greasy, tear-free and water-resistant. Its natural Sunscreen SPF 45 helps protect skin from sun burn and is enriched with Vitamin E, Shea Butter and antioxidant Green tea extract to nurture and moisturise the skin & it does have a bit of a juicy yummy smell.

La Roche Posay Anthelios:  Anthelios products all have a high Persistent Pigment Darkening factor therefore offering one of the best protections against UVA. It is 100% hypoallergenic. *This particular product you do have to wait those 30mins before you hit the sun but its a small price to pay as its still a great suncream.

All products mentioned are non comedogenic, meaning they won’t clog your pores. All are suitable for sensitive skin & child friendly. Now go catch some rays….
